Yahong Meditech Signs Exclusive Licensing Agreement with Theramex

Yahong Meditech (688176.SH) has announced that it recently entered into a conditional Exclusive Licensing Agreement with Theramex HQ UK Limited ("Theramex").
Under the licensing agreement, Theramex will obtain exclusive rights to APL-1702 (brand name: Xiwelta®/CEVIRA®) in European countries as well as Australia, New Zealand, and Turkey. The company retains the relevant rights for the remaining regions globally.
According to the agreement, the transaction will bring the company a $15 million upfront payment, an $11 million near-term registration milestone payment, as well as commercialization milestone payments and tiered sales royalties. The total transaction value exceeds $250 million.
