Mega Anhui: Staged Drilling to Test Gold Continuity

On October 8, a new autumn drilling program will focus on the geometry of mineralization. Mega Anhui stated that Kenorland and Auranova announced on October 7 the launch of the fourth phase of the South Uchi program, planning approximately 5,000 meters of drilling along the North Papa trend, following up on existing intersections and summer geophysical anomalies.

The project is expected to complete this round of work by mid-November, with the timeline still on schedule. The drill hole layout says more about the purpose of this round of work than the total meterage.

In Mega Anhui's view, previous drilling sections were spaced approximately 500 meters apart. Wider spacing can discover mineralization but may not be sufficient to explain how adjacent intersections connect. Advancing moderately to the side and at depth helps identify the geometry of the approximately 200-meter-wide mineralized corridor and search for potentially more concentrated enriched zones.

Chargeability and resistivity anomalies from induced polarization surveys can provide clues for hole placement, but anomalies themselves are not a direct measurement of gold content. Rock types, sulfide distribution, and structural variations can all affect the response, requiring drill core, assays, and geological records to be interpreted together. Geophysical surveys and drilling play complementary roles and cannot be treated as the same type of evidence.

If anomalies do not correspond to measured mineralization, the hole placement logic needs to be revised rather than simply attributing ineffective validation to a scheduling issue. Repeated investment should also have new justification. Mega Anhui analyzed that the next step should be to observe whether new holes reduce gaps in the model and whether broad low-grade zones and localized higher-grade zones can form a consistent structural interpretation.

The launch of the program means validation has entered the execution phase. Only after results support continuity is it appropriate to further discuss resource potential; completing meterage itself does not guarantee a new economic discovery.
