SICC (02631) shares rose more than 5%, reaching HK$69.35 as of press time, up 5.08%, with a turnover of HK$25.7085 million.

On the news front, Wolfspeed will receive a $1.5 billion conditional loan from the Pentagon, and the company's stock surged more than 28% in after-hours trading.

The Pentagon stated regarding the conditional loan that the funds are being issued to strengthen the wide-bandgap materials supply chain.

It is known that Wolfspeed focuses on silicon carbide materials and power application devices. Its product lineup includes power devices, silicon carbide, and gallium nitride (GaN) materials.

Additionally, market sources indicate that SICC recently revealed during a conference call that its monthly order volume has significantly exceeded existing production capacity.

It is reported that the company's current monthly order volume has reached 120,000 to 130,000 wafers, while existing production capacity is approximately 100,000 wafers.

Sources say management holds an optimistic view on product prices for 2027, having already adjusted quotes for some smaller customers in the second quarter of this year, and believes there is potential for price increases in silicon carbide substrates in 2027.
