Solana Hosts a Dozen Tokenized US Equities in a Move Away from Issuer-Led Models

According to Woofun AI, Securitize (SECZ.US) has launched more than a dozen tokenized US-listed stocks on Solana, acting as a third-party tokenization service provider and breaking with the traditional issuer-led approach.

The first batch of underlying assets covers Apple (AAPL.US), Microsoft (MSFT.US), NVIDIA (NVDA.US), Alphabet (GOOG.US), Tesla (TSLA.US), Meta (META.US), Amazon (AMZN.US), Netflix (NFLX.US), Circle (CRCL.US), SpaceX (SPCX.US), MicroStrategy (MSTR.US) and Palantir (PLTR.US).

Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that these equity tokens grant holders ordinary ownership and voting rights, setting them apart from synthetic tokens issued through special purpose vehicles, with an experience that approximates a traditional brokerage account.

The initiative is positioned as a conversion pathway, aimed at a smooth future transition to issuer-backed versions from companies such as Apple (AAPL.US) and Microsoft (MSFT.US).

Compared with DTC tokenized securities built on the private Besu blockchain and the Canton Network, Securitize chose Solana, even though the platform is not on the DTC's list of issuance chains.

While brokerages can issue on any blockchain and anchor to DTC tokens, regulated tokens mandate that investors enter an allowlist.

The current focus of institutional competition has shifted from simply fighting for market share to building longer allowlists in order to gain a compliance advantage.
