On October 9, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning presided over a regular press conference.

A Reuters reporter asked that US Department of Justice officials said they had seized seven internet domains linked to Chinese hackers who attempted to intrude into critical infrastructure systems in the United States and foreign countries. What is China's comment?

"China consistently and resolutely opposes and cracks down on hacking activities in accordance with the law, and firmly opposes the dissemination of false information for political purposes and the creation of various kinds of noise," Mao Ning noted.

She pointed out that safeguarding cybersecurity is a shared concern between China and the United States. China urges the United States to abandon double standards and political manipulation, and to work with China through equal dialogue and consultation to jointly address cybersecurity risks and build a peaceful, stable, and mutually respectful China-US cyber relationship.
