China Ecotourism Group Limited (China Ecotourism Group) has signalled a return to profitability for the financial year ended 30 June 2026. A preliminary review of unaudited management accounts indicates profit attributable to owners of approximately HK$95 million to HK$105 million, reversing the HK$72.40 million loss recorded in the prior year.
Management attributes the turnaround primarily to a one-off gain of about HK$182.40 million arising from the extinguishment of financial liabilities through the issuance of scheme shares. The company is finalising its audited results, scheduled for release on 24 September 2026.
