Harvest Season in Changqiao Town: Golden Grains Bring Prosperity

Deep News

As autumn arrives, rice in Changqiao Town has officially entered the harvest period. In the fields, waves of rice sway in the breeze, presenting a golden panorama, with plump and heavy ears bending the stalks.

Combine harvesters shuttle back and forth across the paddies, seamlessly performing cutting, threshing, and loading in one continuous process, creating a busy and bustling harvest scene throughout the fields.

In Tongtuan Village, 300 mu of rice is growing exceptionally well, with a yield of about 1,400 jin per mu. The entire rice field is expected to produce a total of 420,000 jin, and the harvest work can be completed in about a week.

At the harvesting site, golden grains pour continuously from the discharge auger of the combine harvesters. The plump and tightly packed kernels fully demonstrate the quality of the harvest, and the fields are filled with the joy of a bountiful season.

Since the beginning of this year, Changqiao Town has actively promoted improved seeds and farming methods, conducting regular field inspections, agricultural technical guidance, and refined field management.

Currently, the town is organizing mechanized harvesting, drying and storage, and production-sales coordination services to ensure that all crops are harvested and every grain is stored safely.

This effort aims to transform golden rice into "golden grains" that increase local incomes and drive high-quality rural revitalization.
