The Sichuan cultural tourism market remained bustling on the second day of the National Day holiday, with 908 A-grade scenic spots across the province welcoming 6.9 million visitors, a 4.04% increase compared with the same period in 2025 on a like-for-like basis.
Notably, to extend visitors' stays, many localities enriched nighttime cultural consumption offerings through night tours, night performances, and night markets, creating more enjoyable experiences for tourists.
Starting October 1 and running through the end of this year, Sichuan's self-selected trade-in subsidy program officially launched, adding 10 new categories: smart range hoods, smart household stoves, smart dishwashers, water purifiers, smart cleaning robots, smart toilets, digital cameras, smart drones, smart projectors, and smart earphones.
Subsidies reach up to 1,500 yuan on a first-come, first-served basis, available until funds run out. Details are available on today's front page.
