Far East Orchard (O10) has signed a conditional share purchase agreement on Oct, 2 2026 to acquire an additional 42.0% interest in the managers of Far East Hospitality Trust (Q5T).

Upon completion, Far East Orchard’s ownership in both FEO Hospitality Asset Management, the manager of Far East Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust, and FEO Hospitality Trust Management, the trustee-manager of Far East Hospitality Business Trust, will rise from 33.0% to 75.0%, while FEO Asset Management will retain the remaining 25.0% stake.

The transaction, expected to close by the end of 2026, remains subject to customary conditions precedent. The managers said they will continue to collaborate with their sponsors to pursue value-creation initiatives for stapled securityholders and advised investors to exercise caution when dealing in the trust’s securities.
