As the National Day holiday begins, outbound travel and trips to Hong Kong and Macau remain popular. How can you handle your documents during the National Day holiday? How can you avoid the post-holiday rush? Let's take a look.
Want to apply for a Hong Kong and Macau endorsement during the holiday? 24-hour smart endorsement services never close.
During the National Day holiday (October 1 to 7), entry and exit service halls across the city will suspend in-person services in line with the national holiday schedule. However, six 24-hour smart Hong Kong and Macau endorsement service points across the city will remain open around the clock and continue to serve you throughout the holiday.
Mainland residents holding a valid Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau may, in person, use the smart endorsement equipment to apply again for individual visit and group tour endorsements for Hong Kong and Macau. Mainland residents who have completed business enterprise registration and filing for Hong Kong and Macau may apply for business endorsements. With facial recognition and smart operation, you can obtain the endorsement in three minutes, with 24-hour uninterrupted service, and eligible applicants can receive it on the spot.
Notes
The smart endorsement equipment requires the applicant to complete facial recognition in person and cannot be operated on behalf of another person. The Hong Kong and Macau permit held must have previously been issued an endorsement, and its remaining validity must exceed 110 days. Those who are unable to use the smart endorsement equipment for any reason should consult and process at a manual entry and exit window during working hours.
