OOIL Reports 18.9% Rise in Route Revenue and 6.5% Growth in Total Volume for First Three Quarters

OOIL has released the operational summary of Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

For the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, route revenue increased by 45.1% compared with the same period last year, reaching US$3.285 billion.

Total volumes rose by 9.0%, while loadable capacity increased by 3.6%.

The overall load factor was 4.2% higher than the same period in 2025, and overall average revenue per TEU increased by 33.1% compared with the third quarter of last year.

For the first nine months ended September 30, 2026, route revenue and total volumes increased by 18.9% and 6.5% respectively compared with the same period last year.

Loadable capacity increased by 4.8% year on year, the overall load factor was 1.4% higher than the same period in 2025, and overall average revenue per TEU increased by 11.6% compared with the same period last year.
