An executive from an enterprise in Handan recently called the North China (Cangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce and "Hebei Goods Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center to inquire about platform onboarding, overseas warehouse connections and logistics costs.

Center staff patiently answered the questions and gave a detailed introduction to a series of new business-support measures the center has rolled out for the province's distinctive industrial clusters.

On March 20 this year, the city established the North China (Cangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Operations Center.

Since its founding, the center has continuously innovated its service measures to help Cangzhou goods reach overseas markets.

Not long ago, to adapt to the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry, the center was upgraded to the North China (Cangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce and "Hebei Goods Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center, elevating it from a "single e-commerce channel" to a "full-form trade comprehensive platform," with its service scope expanded from Cangzhou to the entire province.

After the upgrade, the center can handle more: on top of its original full-chain cross-border e-commerce services, it has added general trade and bulk trade services, improved diversified services such as customs clearance and tax rebates, foreign exchange settlement, international logistics, supply chain finance, overseas warehouse connections, and compliance and risk control, lowering the threshold for enterprises going global; it has also built the Cangzhou One-Person Company Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community, relying on online digital showrooms and offline product selection events to help Hebei's industrial goods and light industrial consumer goods explore foreign markets.

"We will base ourselves in Cangzhou, fully leverage advantages such as the port and logistics, and accelerate the push for 'Hebei goods going global,'" said Wu Shenxing, head of the North China (Cangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce and "Hebei Goods Going Global" Comprehensive Service Center.

Currently, the center has completed a cross-border e-commerce logistics base and reached cooperation with several logistics enterprises at Huanghua Port, enabling "global product selection, Cangzhou consolidation, one-click going global," opening a convenient and efficient cross-border trade channel for enterprises across the province.

Wu Shenxing said the purpose of this upgrade is to guide and promote Hebei's local enterprises to explore overseas markets and find new growth points.

The center will base itself on Cangzhou's distinctive industries, serve the province's 107 industrial clusters, and build a comprehensive foreign trade service carrier integrating bulk trade, general trade and cross-border e-commerce.

At the same time, by connecting the entire business chain of product selection, platform onboarding, international logistics and brand promotion, it will continuously improve the comprehensive foreign trade service system, act as a good "service provider" for enterprises going global, and meet the foreign trade development needs of different enterprises.
