According to reports, on Friday, Retension Pharmaceuticals Inc (RTSN.US) listed on the US stock market. As of press time, the stock had fallen more than 10% to $10.77. The IPO price was $12.

Retension Pharmaceuticals Inc is a US clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative drugs for the treatment of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases.

The company's core investigational drug, RTN-001, is a next-generation phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor primarily targeting patients with inadequately controlled blood pressure and resistant hypertension, and is currently undergoing Phase IIb clinical trials.

The drug works by enhancing nitric oxide signaling in blood vessels, helping to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Its exclusive global development license was obtained from French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi (SNY.US).
