BASiC Semiconductor Repurchases 55,000 H-Shares, Lifts Treasury Stock to 519,400 Units

Hong Kong-listed BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. disclosed on 06 October 2026 that it repurchased 55,000 H-shares on the Stock Exchange on the same day. The buyback was executed at prices ranging from HKD 39.50 to HKD 40.08 per share, with a volume-weighted average price of HKD 39.79, for a total cash outlay of HKD 2.19 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.019% to 287.02 million shares. Treasury shares increased to 519,400, while the total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 287.53 million.

The repurchase was carried out under the mandate approved by shareholders on 28 August 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 28.75 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 519,400 shares, equivalent to 0.18% of the issued share base on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Listing Rules, BASiC Semiconductor is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 05 November 2026.
