On October 7, the "Meituan 2026 National Day Consumption Insight Report" revealed that orders for long-haul trips exceeding 800 kilometers increased by 25% year-on-year, with 31% of users staying at a single destination for three days or more, and hotel consecutive-stay orders rising by 31% year-on-year.
According to data from Meituan (MEITUAN-W), the top ten most popular destinations for the "October 1st" holiday were Nanjing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Beijing, Chongqing, Luoyang, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Changsha, and Shanghai.
