EIA Reports U.S. Crude Stockpiles Fell by 3.186 Million Barrels Last Week, vs Median Estimate of a 1.915 Million Barrel Increase

According to a report released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration, other changes last week were as follows: gasoline inventories rose by 382,000 barrels, compared with an estimate for a decline of 1.611 million barrels.

Distillate inventories fell by 42,000 barrels, compared with an estimate for a decrease of 1.52 million barrels.

Cushing crude inventories increased by 444,000 barrels.

Refinery utilization rose by 0.2 percentage points, compared with an estimate for a decline of 0.3 percentage points.

Refinery crude runs increased by 223,000 barrels per day.

Crude imports rose by 1.142 million barrels per day.

Crude production increased by 24,000 barrels per day.
