HKD Interbank Rates Diverge as One-Month Rate Falls for Seventh Straight Day to 2.76%, a Six-Week Low

On October 8, Hong Kong dollar interbank rates showed mixed movements, with the one-month rate linked to mortgage loans quoted at 2.76494%, down 7.411 basis points, marking a more than six-week low.
The three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, rose 2.798 basis points to 3.29816%.
The overnight rate increased 12.488 basis points to 2.16821%, while the one-week rate edged up 0.530 basis points to 2.38679%.
The two-week rate climbed 2.321 basis points to 2.50000%, and the two-month rate fell 3.155 basis points to 2.99970%.
Among longer tenors, the six-month rate added 1.185 basis points to 3.54149%, while the one-year rate slipped 0.071 basis points to 4.00000%.
