On October 1, the second to fourth floors of the Yian Neighborhood Center in the Xiongan New Area Startup Zone made their debut, marking the full-scale operation of this one-stop community life service complex. Since the first floor opened on May 1 this year, the center has served residents, relocated enterprise employees, and other groups more than 1 million visits in total.

From government services to convenient commerce, from all-age friendliness to neighborhood activities, eight major functional sections operate in a systematic and coordinated manner, exploring a new path for building community services right at residents' doorsteps.

On the morning of October 1, at the west plaza of the Yian Neighborhood Center, steam rose from the "Steaming Market," a procession of intangible cultural heritage fish lanterns passed by, and new and old residents greeted each other with smiles. That day, the second to fourth floors of the center officially opened to the public, completing the full operational layout of this one-stop community life service complex.

In about four months, it transformed from a brand-new building into a one-stop community life service complex that surrounding residents cannot do without in their daily lives.

A full lineup of businesses, comprehensively upgraded services

Following this full opening, the new spaces on the second to fourth floors were officially launched, with brands making a concentrated debut, covering five major categories: life services, specialty dining, international cuisine, light meals and snacks, and tea and desserts.

Mr. Zhou, an employee of an enterprise relocated from Beijing to Xiongan, said: "The Yian Neighborhood Center solves multiple social and daily life needs in one stop. On weekends, I can invite colleagues to exercise and dine together, and life is becoming richer and richer."

Eight functions working in coordination, integrated community services

The core of the Yian Neighborhood Center is a complete community service system. Centering on residents' daily life needs, the center coordinates eight major functional sections: comprehensive Party-mass services, Beijing-Xiongan government services, basic convenience services, quality commercial services, cultural and sports services, all-age friendly services, health services, and social organization services, integrating service resources scattered across the city into areas reachable by residents on foot.

On the first floor, sections such as government service access, convenience and benefits for the people, and commercial empowerment are already in operation. A total of 52 convenience services are handled directly in the community, and 625 Beijing-Xiongan same-city items can be processed at residents' doorsteps; the convenience service area integrates hairdressing, housekeeping, repairs, dry cleaning, and other services; Shanghai Hualian Supermarket provides nearly 10,000 kinds of goods, and Yian Food Market opens at 7 a.m. to ensure daily meal supply.

That day, the Yian Neighborhood Center was bustling with people. Queues formed in front of the food market stalls, people consulted and handled business at government service windows, restaurants were packed, and smiling faces filled the cultural and sports activity sites. From early morning to evening, people streamed through the building, full of lively everyday energy.

A gathering place for neighborhood activities, bringing neighbors together

From October 1 to 7, the Yian Neighborhood Center launched a seven-day series of neighborhood activities under the theme "Friendship Everywhere, Neighbors Knowing and Gathering Together." The "Steaming Market" opened continuously, with intangible cultural heritage fish lantern parades and Eastern auspicious parades staged in turn; the riverside concert special "Neighbors Singing Together" featured bel canto performances, bubble shows, and a steam band taking the stage one after another, with a full-audience singalong pushing the atmosphere to a climax; at the "Yian Neighbor Banquet" riverside long-table feast, new and old neighbors sat together, conveying community warmth.

During the National Day activities, the west plaza was crowded, people stood in small groups chatting in front of market stalls, and neighbors clapped along to the chorus at the riverside concert. Ms. Zhang, who relocated from Beijing, said: "When I first moved here, neighbors in the elevator just nodded to each other. These past few days, by going to the market and exploring new shops, we've gotten familiar with each other. Now when I go downstairs to exercise, we go together."

Exploring innovative models, creating a community sample

After about four months of operational practice, the Yian Neighborhood Center has gradually found a new path for community services: centering on residents' daily life needs, systematically integrating public services, commercial services, and community groups, and reorganizing the way services are supplied.

As a one-stop community life service complex serving relocated groups and residents, the Yian Neighborhood Center will continue to improve its eight major functional systems, enhance service quality, and keep exploring and innovating to form a replicable and promotable new community service model, providing experience for more communities so that more people can live comprehensively, conveniently, and securely at their doorsteps.
