Chen Ming Says AI Short Drama Industry Prefers Not to Hire Drama Majors

Recently, on a television program, guest Chu Yin and host Chen Ming held a discussion about the industrialization of short drama content.

Chu Yin said he had once been involved with a large short drama script project, where the team consisted entirely of advertising copywriters, and the scripts were created through modular, segmented writing with stimulation points and reversals set at fixed intervals.

The project team believed that advertising copywriters are good at quickly creating conflict, while creators who majored in drama are difficult to use because they hold on to creative ideals.

Chen Ming then added that similar situations also exist in recruitment in the current AI short drama industry, as the industry is not inclined to hire practitioners who majored in drama, film, and television literature, saying that such people have creative persistence and are difficult to tame.
