Preliminary results indicate that RAY1225 Injection has demonstrated positive efficacy and a favorable safety profile in Chinese adult obese/overweight participants, with ideal trial outcomes that met the expected objectives.

RAY1225 Injection, also known as Bilpatide Injection, is an innovative-structure peptide drug developed by Zhongsheng Ruichuang with global independent intellectual property rights. It possesses dual agonist activity on the GLP-1 receptor and GIP receptor. Thanks to its excellent pharmacokinetic properties, it has the potential to become an ultra-long-acting drug administered once every two weeks.

The REBUILDING-2 clinical trial recently completed data cleaning and locking, and topline analysis results were obtained, meeting the primary endpoint. RAY1225 Injection significantly outperformed placebo in the primary efficacy indicator as well as multiple key secondary efficacy indicators, including improvements in various cardiovascular and metabolic risk factors.
