Premarket Movers | Humana Surges 13%; SpaceX Gains 3% While Telecom Stocks Drop; Apple Falls 1%; Alignment Healthcare Sinks 22%

Humana shares surged 13.1% in premarket trading, while rival Alignment Healthcare tumbled 22%, after newly released Medicare Advantage Star Ratings revealed sharp reversals in ratings for the two insurers.

SpaceX struck a deal on Thursday to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum portfolio, moving Elon Musk's satellite venture closer ‌to mounting a direct, orbital challenge to legacy wireless giants across the United States. SpaceX shares gained 3.7% in premarket trading. Meanwhile, shares of traditional wireless operators fell. T-Mobile and AT&T fell 6%; Verizon fell 4%; AST SpaceMobile fell 3%.

Apple shares fell 1% in premarket trading. Apple has told some suppliers to cut production of components for its newly launched iPhone 18 Pro and ​iPhone 18 Pro Max, as soaring memory chip costs ‌and price increases have dampened consumer demand, Nikkei Asia reported on Friday.
