The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the list of construction entities for the second batch of manufacturing digital transformation promotion centers, with a total of 25 units selected.

Local industry and information technology authorities are required to strengthen guidance, support, and routine management of these entities; the construction entities must follow the establishment guidelines to reinforce the "gathering energy plus empowering" approach, highlight artificial intelligence empowerment, deepen their presence in industries, take root in regions, and extend their reach nationwide, helping small and medium-sized enterprises advance their digital and intelligent transformation.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen dynamic management, support the promotion centers in participating in the construction of digital parks, new-type technological transformation, and the improvement of key capabilities for the deep integration of the real economy and digital technology in national advanced manufacturing clusters, and will regularly evaluate and promote typical experiences.

In accordance with the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Carrying Out the Work of Building the Second Batch of Manufacturing Digital Transformation Promotion Centers (Gong Xin Ting Gui Han [2026] No. 238), and following procedures including application by construction entities, local recommendation, expert review, and public announcement, a total of 25 units have been included in the list of construction entities for the second batch of manufacturing digital transformation promotion centers (hereinafter referred to as promotion centers), which is hereby announced.

Local industry and information technology authorities are requested to strengthen guidance, support, and routine management for the construction entities of the promotion centers, and to properly summarize experiences and results.

All construction entities are requested to strengthen their professional orientation, carry out the construction of promotion centers in accordance with the requirements of the Guidelines for the Establishment of Manufacturing Digital Transformation Promotion Centers (Gong Xin Ting Gui Han [2025] No. 198), reinforce the role of "gathering energy plus empowering," highlight the application of artificial intelligence empowerment, deepen their presence in industries, take root in regions, and extend their reach nationwide, and help manufacturing enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, accelerate their digital and intelligent transformation.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen dynamic management of the promotion centers, support them in participating in the construction of high-standard digital parks, new-type technological transformation, and the improvement of key capabilities for the deep integration of the real economy and digital technology in national advanced manufacturing clusters, regularly evaluate the service capabilities and service effects of the promotion centers, and summarize and promote typical experiences and results.
