Want Want China Executes HK$4.16 Million Buyback; 10.99 Million Shares Await Cancellation

Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed that on 5 October 2026 it repurchased 1.54 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging between HK$2.69 and HK$2.74 per share, for an aggregate consideration of HK$4.16 million. All repurchased shares are designated for cancellation.

Including purchases made between 25 September and 2 October 2026, the company now holds 10.99 million shares pending cancellation. This volume represents approximately 0.09 % of the current issued share capital of 11.67 billion shares, which remains unchanged until the cancellations are effected.

Under the share-repurchase mandate approved on 25 August 2026, Want Want China is authorised to repurchase up to 1.17 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this authority have reached 73.29 million shares, equivalent to 0.62 % of the issued share count on the mandate date.

Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, ending on 4 November 2026.
