Bama Tea Executes HKD 0.28 Million On-Market Buyback, Treasury Shares Reach 1.36 Million

Bama Tea Co., Ltd. (Bama Tea) disclosed that it repurchased 10,000 H-shares on 2 October 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 27.66 to HKD 28.48, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 27.90 per share. The transaction involved total consideration of approximately HKD 0.28 million.

Prior to the buyback, Bama Tea had 83.57 million issued H-shares (excluding treasury shares) and 1.35 million treasury shares. Post-transaction, issued shares outstanding fell to 83.56 million, while treasury holdings increased to 1.36 million. The company’s overall issued share capital remained unchanged at 84.92 million shares.

The repurchase forms part of a shareholder mandate approved on 21 April 2026 authorising the company to repurchase up to 5.30 million shares. Including the latest transaction, cumulative repurchases stand at 1.36 million shares, equivalent to 2.57 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date, leaving capacity for a further 3.94 million shares under the current authorisation.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Bama Tea is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 1 November 2026. The board confirmed that all repurchases were executed in compliance with applicable regulations and that all requisite filings have been completed.
