Guangdong Tianyu Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Tianyu Semi) disclosed that it repurchased 38,600 H-shares on 5 October 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 50.45 to HKD 51.75, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 51.64 per share, bringing total cash outflow to HKD 1.99 million.
Following the transaction, Tianyu Semi’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.07% to 58.64 million shares. Treasury shares rose to 348,650, while the company’s aggregate issued share capital remained unchanged at 58.99 million shares because the repurchased stock has been retained as treasury shares rather than cancelled.
The latest purchase lifts cumulative buybacks under the shareholder mandate approved on 19 May 2026 to 348,650 shares, equivalent to 0.59% of the company’s issued shares at the date of the mandate. Tianyu Semi is authorised to repurchase up to 5.90 million shares, leaving approximately 5.55 million shares—over 94% of the mandate—still available.
In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Tianyu Semi is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 4 November 2026.
