LPG and Fuel Oil Surge Over 7% as Most Domestic Futures Main Contracts Rise at Open

On the morning of October 8, 2026, domestic futures main contracts opened mostly higher, with Dorian LPG and fuel oil rising more than 7%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) gaining over 4%, methanol up nearly 4%, sugar and No. 20 rubber climbing nearly 3%, and polypropylene and soybean No. 1 advancing more than 2%.

On the decline side, palladium fell nearly 7%, platinum dropped over 3%, iron ore declined nearly 2%, and Shanghai silver, Shanghai gold, Shanghai aluminum, aluminum alloy, and Shanghai zinc all slipped more than 1%。
