Hong Kong, 6 October 2026 — Mega Genomics Limited disclosed a repurchase of 156,800 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed today.
The on-market transaction, executed on 6 October 2026 under the company’s existing mandate, was completed at prices ranging from HKD 7.03 to HKD 7.30 per share, with a volume-weighted average of approximately HKD 7.26. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 1.14 million.
Impact on share capital • Pre-transaction, Mega Genomics had 221.97 million issued shares (excluding treasury shares) and 2.33 million treasury shares, for a total of 224.30 million shares on 5 October 2026. • Post-repurchase, issued shares outstanding declined to 221.81 million, while treasury shares rose to 2.49 million. • The repurchased shares represent 0.07 % of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) prior to the buyback.
Repurchase mandate utilisation • The share repurchase mandate, approved on 21 May 2026, authorises the company to buy back up to 22.43 million shares. • Cumulative repurchases now stand at 2.49 million shares, equivalent to 1.11 % of the issued share base at the date the mandate was granted, leaving ample capacity for further buybacks. • In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Mega Genomics is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares until 6 November 2026.
