Up to now, Changxing has cumulatively been selected for one "415X" provincial characteristic industrial cluster core zone, two collaborative zones, and one "rising star" industrial cluster. This is another important achievement in Changxing's in-depth promotion of the province's "415X" advanced manufacturing cluster cultivation and the construction of the "142X" industrial layout, marking that Changxing is simultaneously making efforts and advancing in coordination on the two fronts of revitalizing traditional industries and strengthening emerging industries.

Starting in the 1980s and after more than forty years of deep cultivation, Changxing's textile industry has gathered 324 above-scale enterprises and has successively been awarded titles such as "China Famous City of Filament Weaving" and "China Famous City of Interlining." A number of leading enterprises such as Jinsanfa and Tongkun Hengteng have emerged, and it has 5 national specialized and sophisticated "little giant" enterprises and 3 provincial single-champion enterprises. One blueprint drawn to the end, with sustained efforts to promote upgrading. Since 2019, Changxing has continued to anchor itself to the direction of high-quality development of the textile industry and has continuously promoted industrial iterative upgrading. In 2025, the "Changxing County Textile Industry High-Quality Development Implementation Plan (2025-2027)" was issued, supported by special policies on equipment upgrading, technological innovation, and financial support, vigorously implementing the "dual-chain drive" strategy of chemical fiber weaving and industrial textiles, and building institutional guarantees for the cluster's quality improvement and development. At the same time, digital and green transformation highlights are prominent. Textile digital transformation was selected as a typical case of digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the county's digital transformation 2.0 coverage rate exceeds 90%. Intelligent equipment: innovation leads new industries to accelerate. The intelligent equipment industry is an important pole in Changxing's emerging industry cultivation system. The industry mainly involves warehousing and logistics equipment, CNC machine tools, mining machinery, automated special equipment, key basic supporting components, and other fields, with 218 existing above-scale enterprises. The cluster has 1 national-level manufacturing single champion, 2 provincial manufacturing single champions, 17 national specialized and sophisticated "little giants," 68 provincial specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises, and 4 provincial hidden champion enterprises, with a complete echelon structure and abundant innovative momentum. Leading enterprises provide strong momentum. Listed companies such as Nuoli and Zhekuang have taken root and deepened their presence, production bases of listed companies such as Hisense and Chuangshiji have successively landed, and high-quality specialized and sophisticated enterprises such as Huanghu and Zhongde are accelerating their growth, with relatively complete industry categories. Leading enterprises such as Nuoli are relying on their own advantages, cooperating with universities and research institutes, and making forward-looking layouts in the embodied intelligence future industry, opening new growth space for the intelligent equipment industry. The rising star cluster is accelerating its development. Changxing has included high-end industrial mother machines as one of the future industries under key cultivation. In recent years, relying on industrial accumulation and policy empowerment, its scale has continued to expand, and its chain has become increasingly complete, forming a development pattern covering industrial chain links such as mid-to-high-end industrial mother machine complete machines, key functional components, and intelligent complete equipment. From January to August this year, the industrial mother machine "rising star" industrial cluster completed an output value of 8.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.7%. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Changxing will accelerate the extension of subdivided industrial chains, promote enterprises' intelligent, integrated, and service-oriented transformation, continuously enhance the core competitiveness and cluster level of the intelligent equipment industry, and build an intelligent equipment industry highland with regional influence.
