Recently, a grid worker from the Oil Sub-station Community in Dongguang Street discovered during a routine inspection that a drainage manhole cover was missing beside the No. 21 bus stop on Fengyang Road, leaving the manhole exposed.

This location is adjacent to a bus stop with heavy pedestrian traffic, creating a serious safety hazard of people falling into the open hole.

As the responsible maintenance unit had not yet been identified, the community immediately reported the issue to the street office.

Street office staff rushed to the scene to verify the situation and coordinated with the property management company to allocate a replacement manhole cover.

Personnel from both the street office and the community worked together to complete the installation of the manhole cover, promptly eliminating the safety hazard.

Going forward, the Oil Sub-station Community in Dongguang Street will continue to carry out regular grid inspections, promptly address various minor hazards, deliver on livelihood initiatives, and safeguard residents' travel safety.
