Qyuns Therapeutics' Oturkibart Shows Sustained Efficacy in Phase III Trial

Qyuns Therapeutics (HKG:2509) reported sustained symptom improvements in a Phase III study of its Oturkibart treatment for adults with moderate-to-severe prurigo nodularis, according to a Friday exchange filing.
At Week 24, 74.5% of Oturkibart patients saw reduced itching and 34.7% achieved clear or almost clear skin, compared with 29.0% and 11.1% for the placebo group, respectively. By Week 52, those efficacy rates climbed to 95.5% and 66.9% among patients continuing the treatment.
The drug's safety profile was similar to the placebo, with no new long-term risks identified.
Shares of the biopharmaceutical firm fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
