Commvault Systems (CVLT) is expected to publish fiscal Q2 results above the high end of its guidance and modestly raise its annual revenue and annual recurring revenue outlook, Oppenheimer analysts said in a Thursday note.
The company is scheduled to report its fiscal Q2 financial results on Oct. 27.
Commvault is expanding its agentic offerings to keep up with the expected increase in demand, but it is unlikely to contribute to growth until late in the second half of fiscal 2027.
"We believe the strength of the quarterly results will be sufficient to meet buy-side expectations and keep the stock working," Oppenheimer said.
Analysts added that the company is benefiting from growing data security breaches and ransomware attacks, which create
new revenue opportunities.
Oppenheimer reiterated an outperform rating and a $175 price target.
