Financial stocks were lower in late Wednesday afternoon trading, with the NYSE Financial Index falling 1.2% and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) off 0.5%.
The Philadelphia Housing Index was dropping 2.2%, and the State Street Real Estate Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLRE) was down 0.8%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was declining 2.5% to $83,423, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries rose 1 basis point to 5.28%.
In corporate news, Saratoga Investment (SAR) shares were down 7% after it reported fiscal Q2 net investment income of $0.45 a share, down from $0.58 a year earlier.
