Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google and Unity Software (U) entered a partnership to launch new Playground platform for creators to develop video games using natural language prompts, the companies said Wednesday.

People aged 18 and above can access the browser-based platform starting today, with tiered creation access rolling out based on a user's Google One membership, according to Google.

Later this year, the companies will launch Unity Spark, which will be combined with Playground to offer professional-level mechanics and high-fidelity 3D features, enabling creators to build immersive gaming experiences, according to a statement.
