AustralianSuper plans to almost double the share of Asia in its private equity portfolio from around 10% over the next three to five years, Bloomberg reported, citing Lilian Fang, head of private equity for Asia Pacific.

The A$430 billion Australian pension fund plans to increase private equity investments in India and Japan as deal activity improves, Fang reportedly told Bloomberg. AustralianSuper invested over A$3 billion across 26 private equity transactions in the fiscal year ended June 30, according to the report.
