Lion Rock Minerals (ASX:LRM) said its sample processing and preparation laboratory in Cameroon, which serves as its central hub for sample preparation, splitting, and logistics in the country, was independently endorsed and officially commissioned, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The laboratory is fully operational to support exploration activities with a capacity of up to 400 sample preparations per week, the filing said.

The company said the facility will provide increased scheduling flexibility and reduced shipping, handling and logistical expense.

The company's shares fell 6% in recent Thursday trade.
