Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) said it first became aware of assay results from its Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast only after a Sept. 30 cleansing notice was released, and that the notice was validly issued, according to a Wednesday response to an ASX query posted on the Australian bourse.
The company said laboratory results were received between Sept. 26 and 29, but assessment and interpretation required for compliance began on Sept. 30. The results were released on Oct. 1, and the company said it considered them market-sensitive.
ASX's Oct. 2 query asked how the company could state in its cleansing notice that there was no excluded information, and the company confirmed it complies with continuous disclosure rules, per the filing.
The company's shares rose 3% in recent trade.
