Sunstone Metals Says Drilling Starts at Ecuador Gold-Copper Project; Shares Up 3%

Sunstone Metals (ASX:STM) said two drill rigs were mobilized to the El Palmar gold-copper project in Ecuador, and the first rig started drilling, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling is focused on testing the northern and southwestern portions of the deep T3 porphyry gold-copper target and the magnetic targets at T1 and south of the Toachi Fault, the company said.
The mineral exploration company's shares rose nearly 3% in recent trading on Wednesday.
