Sea Forest (ASX:SEA) has signed a distribution agreement with Teys Australia, targeting at least 480,000 cattle on SeaFeed by June 30, 2027, which would lift the total number of cattle under agreement to 541,000 from 131,000 head, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Teys will serve as the exclusive distributor of SeaFeed to the beef industry across Australia and New Zealand, subject to meeting agreed volume targets, per the filing.
The agreement runs until Aug. 30, 2030, with Teys committed to using SeaFeed at the recommended dosage across its feedlots, while both parties seek to expand its adoption through Teys' customer network, the filing said.
Pricing will be agreed on an ongoing basis to ensure commercial viability for both parties, the filing added.
The company's shares rose around 18% in recent Wednesday trade.
