Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) said underground diamond drilling at the United North deposit within its Youanmi gold mine in Western Australia continued to return thick gold intersections, with host shear zones seen in all drill holes, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Significant results include about 7.5 meters at nearly 12 grams per tonne grade of gold from 155.5 meters, about 22.3 meters at 3.4 g/t from 170 meters, about 6.9 meters at 10.4 g/t from 140.3 meters, and 12.1 meters at 13.4 g/t from 136.8 meters, per the filing.

The company said it completed grade control modeling for two mining levels that confirmed roughly 125-meter strike extensions beyond the definitive feasibility study mine plan.

The top six United North levels are now sufficiently drilled to support production planning and mine development.
