Civmec Secures Over AU$220 Million in New Contracts; Shares Up 3%

Civmec (ASX:CVL) has secured new contracts and extensions worth more than AU$220 million across its critical minerals and maintenance portfolios, with the projects set for delivery in fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The key award involves the construction of Alcoa's (ASX:AAI) Wagerup gallium project in Western Australia, covering multidisciplinary works for the gallium production facility and associated supporting infrastructure, per the filing.

The company has also secured the Bulk Cargo Terminal works contract at Glencore's Murrin Murrin Operations, along with additional maintenance awards, panel extensions and orders, the filing said.

The latest contract wins have increased the company's order book to around AU$1.5 billion, the filing added.

Civmec's shares rose around 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
