Microsoft (MSFT) Chief Executive Satya Nadella and Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang are expected to unveil the Surface Laptop Ultra together at a San Francisco event, Reuters reported Wednesday.

Microsoft said on its website that the 18-millimeter-thick laptop will use Nvidia's RTX Spark chips, combining an energy-efficient CPU with an RTX GPU to deliver up to one petaflop of AI computing performance.

The Surface Laptop Ultra is designed for sustained high performance and features a new thermal system with up to 2.5 times the thermal capacity of the 15-inch Surface Laptop, the company said.

Microsoft said the device will offer all-day battery life, a 30% larger touchpad and a 15-inch mini-LED PixelSense Ultra touchscreen.

Microsoft and Nvidia did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
