SAP plans to acquire Belgian workforce technology company TechWolf.
The companies said Tuesday that TechWolf will join SAP's SuccessFactors portfolio, its business focused on human capital management software.
TechWolf uses a proprietary data model aimed at giving businesses a view into the work their employees do and the skills they have to inform decisions related to hiring, reskilling and redeployment. Its platform works from customers' existing systems to build a model based on the organization's work, employees' skills and the external labor market, and maps that against the customer's business strategy.
SAP said it plans for TechWolf to remain as an independent entity under its Chief Executive Andreas De Neve in its Ghent headquarters, with offices in London, New York and San Francisco, and for its platform to remain available to both SAP and non-SAP customers.
The companies didn't disclose the financial terms of the deal.
They expect the transaction to close in the fourth quarter, subject to closing conditions including regulatory approval.
