Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) confirmed that it is complying with the ASX's listing rules in response to a query letter from the ASX, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The ASX sent the firm a query regarding the change in price of the firm's securities from a high of AU$0.076 to a low of AU$0.061 on Wednesday, as well as a significant increase in trading volume.
The firm said a second round of preliminary water and gas tracer samples were collected from the second phase of testing at Lorelle-3H appraisal well in Queensland's Taroom Trough and were sent to the laboratory in Malaysia on Tuesday.
The results are immaterial in themselves, do not warrant specific disclosure and represent an interpretation of individual fracture performance and contribution at a point in time from the recent flow testing results, the firm said.
It also said that it had earlier confirmed that it was continuing talks with Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) despite exclusivity having ended, and Elixir received interest in the firm and its assets during the period of exclusivity from multiple parties. The firm is progressing talks with various parties at this time, but those negotiations are not yet at a stage that would meet any disclosure requirement under the listing rules.
