RocketBoots (ASX:ROC) said first store installations have started under a previously disclosed agreement with a tier-one retailer in the US, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The integration of RocketBoots' software into the customer's self-checkout technology stack is complete, the company said, without disclosing the client's identity.
The parties struck a software as a service (SaaS) agreement in late 2025, followed by an activation contract in March. The agreements provide for the deployment of RocketBoots' artificial intelligence loss-prevention platform, initially across about 40% of the customer's global store network.
The SaaS agreement provides for about AU$9.1 million of annual recurring revenue once rolled out on a five-year term with automatic one-year extensions, while the activation contract provides about AU$3.3 million of non-recurring revenue to be recognized progressively as stores are deployed.
RocketBoots shares rose 14% in recent Tuesday trade.
