Prudential Financial's (PRU) Brazil and Mexico businesses have drawn interest from MetLife (MET) and CNP Assurances in a potential deal that could generate about $3 billion for Prudential, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Mapfre has also previously explored a bid, while Daiichi Life has opted not to make an offer for now, according to the report.
The deal is anticipated to be announced this year, while the bidders and terms could still change, according to Bloomberg.
Prudential Financial, MetLife and CNP did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
