Finder Energy Holdings (ASX:FDR) reached an agreement with farm-in partner TIMOR GAP to extend the due date for the Kuda Tasi and Jahal development project's final investment decision to before Nov. 30 from Sept. 30 previously, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The extension gives the parties more time for work on major contracting, financing, and critical path activities, per the filing.
All other terms of the farm-in agreement remain unchanged, including the development funding framework under which TIMOR GAP will fund 50% of development expenditure, subject to its terms and cap.
Finder Energy said it continues to target drilling at the project, located offshore East Timor, in late 2027.
The company's shares gained 2% in recent Monday trade.
