Renascor Resources Produces Battery-Grade Purified Spherical Graphite at South Australia Demonstration Plant

Renascor Resources (ASX:RNU) produced battery-grade purified spherical graphite at its demonstration plant in South Australia with a carbon purity of 99.97%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The results show the ability of the company's hydrofluoric acid-free purification process to achieve battery-grade purity at demonstration scale, per the filing.
Renascor has started batch production trials to confirm that the scaled-up purification circuit could achieve the high purity needed for lithium-ion battery anode applications, it said.
The milestone supports customer engagement activities, including ongoing discussions with prospective offtake and strategic partners, Renascor said.
