Cyclopharm's Technegas Product Named Preferred Radiopharmaceutical for Lung Ventilation Imaging in Chinese Medical Consensus; Shares Up 7%

Cyclopharm (ASX:CYC) said its Technegas product has been named the preferred radiopharmaceutical for lung ventilation imaging in a new Chinese medical consensus, published in the October issue of the Chinese Journal of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, a peer-reviewed Chinese Medical Association journal, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
According to the consensus, the alternative agent, DTPA aerosol, is to be used only if Technegas is unavailable.
The consensus was published following a survey of nuclear medicine departments across Chinese hospitals, per the filing.
Shares rose 7% in midday trade Wednesday.
