Hotai Motor (TPE:2207) kept its estimate of 430,000 new-car registrations unchanged in Taiwan this year, and expects the market to remain stable in the fourth quarter, CNA reported Saturday, citing General Manager Su Chun-hsing's address to reporters after an event.
Su said the market performed better than expected in September, while fourth-quarter conditions looked good and orders remained stable, according to the report.
Hotai's target for Toyota, Lexus and Hino sales remains at 165,000 units for the year. The company estimates combined Toyota and Lexus registrations at about 13,400 units in October, representing a 36.2% market share, CNA said.
