Bursa Malaysia extended gains on the week's open to end in green. The investor sentiment was in line with a positive regional performance.
The benchmark FBM KLCI climbed 0.05% or 0.9 points to close at 1,631.75.
In corporate news, shares of Kelington (KLSE:KGB) rose about 6% on Monday's close after its unit Kelington Technologies secured a further contract worth about 133 million ringgit from a manufacturing company at Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone in Sarawak, Malaysia.
Shares of Alpha IVF (KLSE:ALPHA) rose about 4% on today's close after it proposed to transfer the listing and quotation of its entire issued share capital from Bursa Malaysia's ACE Market to the Main Market via the accelerated transfer process.
Meanwhile, Oppstar (KLSE:OPPSTAR) gained over 1% on close after its unit has joined the Rapidus Collaborative Open Rapid Ecosystem (CORE) as a design solution associate to speed up development of advanced semiconductors.
